🎬​WC Entertainment is in pre-production for "AROUND THE FIRE." Based on true experiences, this film is a visceral look at the silent battles men face and the rare honesty found when the world is stripped away.

​📖 SYNOPSIS

​In a world of constant noise and curated lives, three lifelong friends decide to unplug and disappear into the wilderness. What starts as a simple escape becomes a high-stakes reckoning. As the distractions of civilization fade, a profound discovery in the woods forces them to drop the masks they’ve worn for decades. "Around the Fire" is a raw, refreshing journey into the rare honesty that only happens when men have nothing left to lose but each other.

​🎭 THE TRIO (LEAD ROLES: AGE 30s-42)

​AUGUST – Role Filled (William Brian Baker): An analytical strategist whose life is unraveling. He has spent his life believing every problem has a logical solution, but he has finally encountered a grief he cannot calculate his way out of.​

ALFRED – NOW CASTING – Pay: $345 Flat Fee: A former hometown legend living in the shadow of who he used to be. A natural at everything who failed to launch, he now hides his deep insecurities behind a "life of the party" persona.​

RUSH – NOW CASTING – Pay: $365 Flat Fee: Rush exists "outside the labels"—he’s a master craftsman, a provider, and a fiercely independent man who built his own life with his own hands. Currently navigating a contentious divorce, Rush is a man who wants to be left alone but finds himself forced to lean on his friends. We need a performance that balances a rugged exterior with intense emotional transparency.

​🎭 SUPPORTING ROLES – Pay: $50 Travel Stipend Each

​KATIE (20s-30s): August’s wife; navigating the fallout of a marriage at its breaking point.​DIANNA (30s-40s): Rush’s wife; a pivotal presence in the film’s emotional resolution.

ERICA – Role Filled (Amanda Kapuscinski): A key figure within the characters' unfolding world.​

MS. LACEY – Role Filled (Tamara Starnes): A grounded presence within the trio's orbit.​

MOM & DAD (50s-70s): August’s parents; representing the weight of tradition and expectation.​KIDS (Ages 6-12): Required for the film’s finale.
